Through association, new Mercy Health Foundation board member John Hearnsberger has acquired enough healthcare knowledge to know quality when he sees and experiences it. That’s why the civic-minded son of an Arkansas country doctor and brother of a big-city ear, nose and throat specialist is so excited to be serving on the board of St. Joseph’s Mercy Health Foundation.

“Through my wife Marcia, I have witnessed the wonderful service the Cooper-Anthony Mercy Child Advocacy Center provides for area children. To say that we have a soft spot in our hearts for the center’s mission would be an understatement. That, however, is just one of many examples I can personally site of St. Joseph’s dedication to providing quality care with compassion. Quality of health care equals quality of life, and as a new Mercy Health Foundation board member, I am honored to play a small role in the preservation of such a mission.”
