“I was born at St. Joseph’s Mercy Health Center, and its
welcoming environment has always held a special place in
my heart. The kindness and warmth volunteers and coworkers
share provide a bright ray of hope for patients and
visitors alike.
This ray of hope extends to the Cooper-Anthony Mercy Child
Advocacy Center. Since opening in the spring of 2003, the
Center has filled an area-wide need by providing a haven for
children who have been victims of child abuse. I developed
heartfelt appreciation for children through my years as a
teacher in Hot Springs, and it was a natural fit for me to
support the mission of the helpful and caring Center.
There are many fine hospitals across the nation, but it is a
dedication to the community and a commitment to
compassionate care that separates St. Joseph’s from the
rest. I truly believe the expansion of St. Joseph’s medical
services will compare to that of any area, creating a bright
hope for the future.”
