Outpatient Department

Many surgical and diagnostic procedures are less invasive than they have been in the past. Therefore patients can recover quicker and return to work or play in a shorter amount of time. For many patients, it is possible to receive surgical treatment for a growing list of conditions without an overnight hospital stay, including gallbladder removal, arthroscopic knee surgery, cystoscopy, hernia repair, carpal tunnel surgery, cataract surgery, breast biopsy and laser hemorrhoidectomy. Many surgeries are performed in the morning and the patient is typically home by the afternoon.

For your convenience, a pre-assessment program is available to coordinate all lab work, X-rays and other tests needed before coming in for your surgery. Pre-assessment can be performed up to a week in advance. To reach our pre-assessment office, please cal (501) 622-1973.

A full scope of outpatient diagnostic testing and treatments is also offered. Some of these include blood transfusions, chemotherapy, IV therapy, dressing changes, X-ray procedures and GI endoscopy procedures.
