American Parkinson Disease Association of St. Joseph's

The statewide Information and Referral Center of the American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA) of St. Joseph's serves the entire state by offering information about this disease and the management of symptoms. There are currently 23 support groups in Arkansas and St. Joseph's hosts a seminar every other year that provide patients, caregivers and healthcare professionals with the most current information on the disease. The APDA information and referral center of St. Joseph's also mails out two newsletters every year to patients who have placed themselves on our mailing list. Support grous topics cover many issues including stress relief and symptom management, therapies of all kinds, humor in caregiving, exercises for patients and many other crucial topics for both patients and caregivers.
